We are looking for a friendly, experienced and enthusiastic catering manager to join our hardworking, happy team, providing appetising and nutritious meals for the pupils of our Federation of schools.  Meals for all pupils are cooked at the St Edmund’s site and some transported daily to St Joseph’s as required.  Meals are also prepared for breakfast and afterschool club.

The successful applicant will ideally be trained to level 3 qualification in Catering or NVQ equivalent.  They must have experience of working in a kitchen environment and will be responsible for planning a balanced nutritious lunch and afterschool menu, ordering provisions (including snacks for preschool), stock and budget management, line management of kitchen staff and ensuring compliance with food standards and food hygiene regulations.

The role is primarily at St Edmund's, however, there may occasionally be the need to travel to the St Joseph's site or work additional or change hours in the case of staff holidays or sickness.
