At St Edmund’s we strive for all our children to achieve their best academically as they progress in their learning journey. We also seek to recognise, value and nurture the individual qualities of each child. Through our weekly focus on the Federation’s values which identify the ‘Characteristics of an Effective Learner’, we teach, identify and celebrate a number of essential life skills which our children develop as members of our school community. Our accreditation as a Silver Rights Respecting School demonstrates the importance we place on supporting our children to understand the rights and responsibilities that they have as a member of our school community and as a global citizen in the wider world...

We're continuing to enjoy following the success of the women who are competing in the Euro 2022 tournament. Here's a few football themed activities which might be of interest for children at home over the summer break. https://t.co/biuVPU5MCX
@RavencroftSarah Yes of course
Today, on the final day of this academic year we have said farewell to Mr Francis who is retiring from teaching after 37 years. What an incredible commitment to the profession, supporting so many children to flourish over those years. We wish him well for the future. https://t.co/Jvv2kk7l7G
The children in The Nest had a great time on their trip to the Abbey gardens this morning. They enjoyed exploring and climbing and you can see from the photos, they shared plenty of smiles and laughter too. What a great way to spend the last day of term. https://t.co/XJvGijzQGZ
Thanks to the Eco council's hard work & the commitment of our children, we have helped fight the climate crisis by incorporating our climate pledges from November into everyday life. Most children even surpassed their pledge, taking on extra environmentally friendly practices!
Today we said farewell to Mr Scales who has been a hugely valued member of our St Edmunds school community for the past 11 years. We're sad to see him go and wish him much continued success in his teaching career. Thank you for all you've done for our children, staff & parents https://t.co/PCRvkDHepY
@DuganMarcella It's been great to have her as part of our St Eds school community. We wish her well in her next school chapter. Keep that love of reading Laila
@Magfoot77 Time flies when you're having fun! We'll miss you all too. Good luck in your next school chapter Jimmy.
The grown ups weren't going to be left out of the cold water foot spa treatments today either! https://t.co/oZOs4qsOKm
Cold water foot spas helped to keep lots of us cool today. What a simple but fabulous idea (don't tell the children, but it also saved us the job of washing out their drawers too!) https://t.co/0bmSC4IJLr
Hot weather at break time meant we took shelter in the shade with ice pops. No one was complaining about an ice pop treat today! https://t.co/uZbTmAc8of
A few action shots of the Yr4s participating in their inter house sports event on Friday. Winning house teams to be announced in tomorrow's assembly. https://t.co/ckU7Vpzy1v

We are so pleased to be part of the school family at St Edmund's. Your response to our needs is such an amazing example to set children - they truly are "Learning together in God's Love".
