At St Edmund’s we strive for all our children to achieve their best academically as they progress in their learning journey. We also seek to recognise, value and nurture the individual qualities of each child. Through our weekly focus on the Federation’s values which identify the ‘Characteristics of an Effective Learner’, we teach, identify and celebrate a number of essential life skills which our children develop as members of our school community. Our accreditation as a Silver Rights Respecting School demonstrates the importance we place on supporting our children to understand the rights and responsibilities that they have as a member of our school community and as a global citizen in the wider world...

No pens or pencils involved in our art lesson today, not even to write the date! #nopensday https://t.co/rUPkdUPU4N

Our Yr6s were keen to help unload the van full of props & costumes that @TheatreRoyalBSE have allowed us to make use of for the Yr5&6 production at the end of term. Of course, they had to just try a few things on for size! Thank you @TheatreRoyalBSE we really appreciate your help https://t.co/AyrPhvWWt8
Our Eco Council led our assembly about plastic. https://t.co/iqyOflyD2A
How to administer CPR and how to deal with burns, breaks & choking were just some of the things Yr6 learnt about in their First Aid training with Naomi from @suffolkMFA today. They have had a great day & have learnt skills that could now help them save a life. Thank you Naomi https://t.co/N9IlDnK7Ok
We welcomed Bishop Alan and a number of other visitors, key to the successful opening of The Nest, for its blessing today. The Yr5/6 choir performed and one of the pupils from The Nest did a fantastic job assisting Bishop Alan and taking him on a tour of the new building too. https://t.co/Ain5nsYkWv
Very much deserved recognition of the amazing Mrs Copeman! We are all so fortunate to have a dedicated & generous person leading our school. https://t.co/QYdvVQ5Sq9
