Week 7

Hi everyone,

How are you all? The weather hasn't been great this week but I hope you've had lots of fun indoors getting creative and learning new skills.

I've received some lovely photographs of planting, bike rides cartwheels, baking, making masks and completing some of the tasks I've been setting each week. Thank you for sharing those with me. I look forward to seeing what you've been up to. I had a lovely suggestion from Arabella and her mum who thought it would be a good idea to bring in the 3D masks I suggeted in Week 5. We can then display them in the classroom or somewhere else. If you haven't made one, don't worry, but also remember you can re-visit the weeks if you would like to go back and complete some of the activities.

I hope you are enjoying reading a book in your pyjamas today for the Book Trust who are celebrating the Bedtime story. If you are, and can take a picture, I would love to see you reading your favourite book. You can send them in to the Home Learning site. I have included a photograph of me reading one of my favourite books.

This week I have included the Year 3 and Year 4 planning for maths. In school we tend to follow Year 4 planning and I differentiate the activities for the children. I have decided to include both year groups this week as I know some children were finding it a bit tricky. Please feel free to do which year group best suits your child. I would far rather they have a go at some maths than become disheartened and give up. Please let me know if this helps.

Have a good week next week. I look forward from hearing from you and seeing what you've been up to.

Take care and I miss you all lots.

Love From

Mrs Soar x
