Week 8

Dear Year 6,

I hope you and your family have had a good bank holiday weekend.

Please find below some activities that you may want to look at with your child and encourage them to take part in during the week - if you look at week 6 and download the Home Learning Intentions attachment you can see the suggested order of the tasks.

Mathletics

Activities have been set for the week - please continue to encourage your children to do these.

Ninja Maths

I have uploaded 5 worksheets these do not need to be printed the children can do these on scrap paper if it is easier (will hopefully save some ink). I have also uploaded the answers - the children are used to me using this PowerPoint in class - if they start the presentation and click on the correct week and session they will be able to find the timer and then answers at the end of the 5 minutes.

Magic 10

I have uploaded the Arithmetic Magic 10 Powerpoint presentation- this is an optional, extra task. The children can work on any of the slides that they wish.

Thrive

Below I have attached a Thrive activity sheet with some fun and thoughtful activities the children can do at home.

It has been great seeing the photos of the home learning, as well as other activities which the children have been doing which have been sent to the home learning email, I look forward to seeing more this week.

Take care and have a great week,

Miss Disney and Mr Scales
