It's the last day of term, the sun has come out and we're all rather hot. What better way to cool off than with some water play. @OPAL_CIC https://t.co/simbKxAB0z
The KS2 children in the Nest had a great time at their Sports Day event this afternoon. They participated eagerly and it was lovely that lots of family members came to cheer them on too. Well done to blue team who were today's winners. https://t.co/0T9xagugEb
The Year 1 pupils have been working really hard designing and then creating hand puppets. They have carefully sewn them together and they look fabulous. https://t.co/ctkBkxDWbQ
Tonight we celebrated Mass with our Yr6s and their families. A significant milestone as they end their educational journey with us and head off to secondary school. Their Leavers hoodies were well received and we can't wait to see them wearing them in school tomorrow. https://t.co/NUkjeCEE5X
We had a great afternoon at the EYs/KS1 sports day. The children participated with excitement and enthusiasm and the rain didn't stop us! Well done to St George's house who won the trophy this afternoon. https://t.co/QklIz9yuXM

Well done to those children who were awarded with certificates and badges from Rowen in Friday's celebration recognising their frequent participation in the Bike Train. We're looking forward to other families joining the bike train in the not too distant future. @ecocarriersbse https://t.co/qS8WxWymIi
The Essex police dog section came into school to teach the children about their job. We had demonstrations using two dogs Luther who chases criminals and Sheila who finds items. Thank you to PC Ben Savory and PC Andy. The children and adults were transfixed! @EPDogs https://t.co/CPFSTkfrrZ
We were really proud of the choir who today went and sung next door at the care home. They filled the room with beautiful sounds which brought joy to the residents. It was lovely to watch the residents tapping their toes, smiling and swaying in their seats. https://t.co/NLf2f9O9oh
We had a great time at our Rocksteady gig this week. It was great to see the children perform with such confidence and to see the progress that they have made this year. The smiles on their faces say it all. @RSMusicSchool https://t.co/Ll5THfTQGu

I just wanted to say thank you for all you have done for our child, we were so worried about the transition because of his additional needs but everything has run so smoothly and he is very happy.

I am so impressed with the way the children are conducting themselves, they are so focussed and want to achieve. Their class teacher has given them so much self-belief.

We ask you to extend our thanks and congratulations to everyone from the school who was involved in the carol service at the Sudbury library. We have known about music at the school right the way through our almost 40 years in Sudbury, so in that sense Saturday’s event was no surprise. In this day and age, however, it is simply glorious to see children performing with their school like this.

A big thank you for making St Edmund's school such a wonderful school for our children to go to.
